The Cutera TruSculpt Flex treatment procedure

Handpieces are placed on the areas to be treated
The areas treated are the abdominal muscles, buttocks, thigh and calf, arm and lower back
Up to 8 body areas can be treated at one time
Each area can be treated with the Prep mode, the Tone mode or the Sculpt mode depending on the patient’s fitness level and goals
The different modes can be customised to specific areas within a treatment session
During treatment you may feel your muscle being stretched, twisted and contracted. You can adjust the intensity of each treatment mode
The Prep mode is the equivalent of stretching your muscles before a workup. Prep mode warms up the muscles with a twisting motion
The Tone mode stimulates muscles to build strength and muscle endurance. You will feel your muscles contract, hold and then relax
The Sculpt mode builds new muscle fibres and improve your metabolic rate and creates a definition in the targeted area You will feel repetitive fast and deep muscle contractions
Each treatment lasts 45 minutes
Treatments are done twice a week for 2 weeks
After the treatment you may feel a vague muscle ache as if you had done a strenuous exercise like a few hundred sit-ups
You can resume normal activities right after

Cutera TruSculpt Flex is a muscle sculpting device that offers personalized treatments based on the patient’s fitness level, shape, and goals. The TruSculpt Flex uses bio-electrical muscle stimulation (BEMS) to strengthen and sculpt muscle.

The Cutera TruSculpt Flex technology

The TruSculpt Flex stimulates muscle by electrical multidirectional stimulation (MDS) to target specific muscle groups. The treatment options are designed to stimulate different workouts such as twisting, squat and crunch actions.
TruSculpt Flex can be set to stimulate muscles in sequence of 3 operational modes (Prep, Tone or Sculpt).
Prep tone treatment starts to create a twisting motion to warm up, stretch the muscles and slowly build up tolerance to muscle contractions
Tone mode treatment is next to contract muscle, hold them to the point of exhaustion and then relaxes them to increase strength and enhance endurance.
Sculpt mode treatment where fast deep sequential contractions of muscle are started to build muscle mass and increase basal metabolic rate
The intensity for each operational mode can be independently adjustable for each muscle group.
TruSculpt Flex can stimulate muscles up to 8 body areas at the same time.
